Mysterious Havana Syndrome:Dozens of cases found at US Embassy and CIA staff in Vienna, Austria; CIA sacks Vienna chief for taking the matter lightly

America's Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has removed its Vienna station chief. He has been accused of not taking seriously the increase in Havana syndrome cases. According to the Washington Post report, there were dozens of cases reported in Vienna involving CIA officers, embassy staff and their families, but the chief here took it lightly and was insensitive to people suffering from the syndrome.

How did Havana get the name?
The syndrome is named Havana because its symptoms were first reported in the Cuban capital, Havana. In this syndrome, many symptoms like bleeding nose, headache, loss of vision are seen, which are similar to those felt during a head injury.

Efforts continue to provide treatment to patients, a
CIA spokesman declined to tell this report true or false, but said that the agency takes seriously the possibility of any mysterious disease in America's diplomatic missions around the world. The US government, including the CIA and the Pentagon, is making rapid efforts to investigate the disease and provide necessary treatment to patients.

Cause and source
unknown: CIA Deputy Director David Cohen said last week that the cause and source of the disease were not yet known. He said- Have we come close? I think yes. But they have not even come close enough to give any detailed answer to the people who are waiting.
